With Other Matter
Art Work for Exhibiton
‘With Other Matter’ invites artists to share new works and processes inspired,
influenced and involving ‘other matter’, plants and nature.
Social restrictions limited interactions with people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Urged to stay at home or close to home our engagements with the things and other
matter that occupies these spaces has intensified. It has been widely documented that
this period has enabled a time to build new relationships with nature, plant species and
other living matter that surround us, allowing us closer observation and interaction with
the often overlooked familiar things we live with and alongside.
This is my time spent in the local Cloonshanville Bog
Roscommon Arts Centre has accepted my artwork for the curated
group exhibition taking place in August 2022.
