The proposed Community Photographic Cultural Centre is envisioned as a creative hub where photography, visual arts, education, exhibitions, heritage, and community engagement come together under one roof.

The centre will provide space for artists to create, communities to connect, stories to be preserved, and new generations to develop creative skills.

Creative spaces do more than support artists. They strengthen communities, preserve heritage, encourage participation, support wellbeing, and contribute to local economic development.

  • Investing in Community Through Creativity

The proposed Community Photographic Cultural Centre will provide a welcoming and accessible space where people of all ages can explore creativity, develop new skills, and engage with cultural activities close to home. It will support local artists and makers, create opportunities for young people, encourage lifelong learning, and help preserve the unique heritage and stories of the region through photography and visual arts.

Beyond supporting artistic practice, the centre will strengthen community connections, promote wellbeing and inclusion, and contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of the area. By bringing together education, creativity, heritage, and community engagement under one roof, the centre aims to become a valuable resource and focal point for the wider region.
