I am delighted to have received an Artists Bursary to the sum of €800 from the Roscommon Arts Office to help fund my video project Frenchpark. The video will be shot using aerial footage and then combined with 3D animation and was set in motion when I was the winner of a Talent Voucher from My Creative Edge.
Most footage has been shot and the rest will be concluded over the summer, good weather prevailing, with the 3D animation already underway. It will be one of the most complicated projects undertaken by Black Hole Studio in the sense of using audio, video and 3D animation altogether in one project. Although, not anything like a decent wage for the work being completed, the extra funding will be of huge benefit as it will give me more time to finish the project.
The video footage shown is one of the earlier tests. The project has been coming along slowly in conjunction with my course at Pulse College, Galway where I have been learning 3D modelling and how to animate it. I am hoping to have the video ready to launch by the end of the summer, all going well.
