I attended the opening of Impressions 2015 exhibition featuring the best work in Irish print art and is part of the ongoing Galway International Arts Festival.

It was well attended with the opening talks by James Harrold, Siobhan Piercey and Leonie King. Naturally, the event could not have taken place without the sterling work of Katriona Gillespie from Galway Print Studio (formerly Lorg) who has spent the last year organising everything from the web-site to submissions to hanging the work.

Anyone interested in art, especially printmaking, this is a must-see and well worth visiting The Centre for Creative Arts and Media, GMIT, Galway where it runs until July 26th.
