Working on the storyboard for the music video to be filmed later this year. The images that were in my head have now to be explained to others who are working on the project namely Mark from Hexicam Aerials and Jimbo the 3D animator. The two of them will not be working together, so it's up to me to make sure that both understand what each other has to do in order to make the result look seemless, although I have good faith in their ability to do just that.
The storyboard is a break-down of the scenes required for the video. I'm working off the timing of the music as this determines where the edits will be taking place, so it's important when shooting the footage that this is adhered to. Firstly, I map out the I then draw each scene that is required for each edit making a note of how long it takes.
As I'm using 3D animation as well I have been working on the design of the bullet/missile that will be featured in the video. This is an idea of how the original bullet changes into a missile. However, I will be leaving it open for the animator to work from. I'm not sure if what I desire outstrips the cost that I can pay. I'm sure i'll find out soon enough.
